Matt and Shannon go over Jack Z's comments and talk about famed baseball statistician Bill James who says the Mariners should be the biggest surprise team in baseball. Mariners shortstop Brendan Ryan talks about how happy he is for Felix getting a new lucrative contract and how great a person he is off the field too. He says he was fortunate to leave near a clinic where he could easily rehab his shoulder. Director of the Baseball Hall of Fame, Jeff Idelson talks about why no players were elected to the Hall this year and says he expects a huge induction class next year. Mariners bench coach Robby Thompson talks about last year being a vital year for the young players and how they have made adjustments.
