Aaron, Shannon and Bill talk to the Mariners new manager Lloyd McClendon about his whirlwind tour around the country meeting personally with players. He says when a player does his job well, it's to be expected. Mariners shortstop Brad Miller talks about getting ready for bed right before his interview (he is on the East Coast). He also talks about his off-season routine, giving himself 2 weeks off and now lifts weights 3-4 days a week. Brad brings up his running style as being a "baby giraffe." It's supposed to be 50 and sunny for Mariners Fanfest this weekend Jan 25th and 26th. Robinson Cano, Corey Hart, Taijuan Walker and Lloyd McClendon are among the notable players who will be there.

He's says he's not surprised that Brandon Maurer has forced himself into potentially making the starting rotation. Mariners ace Felix Hernandez says they have a special team this year with a great mix of veterans and young players and thinks they will "surprise people" this year. Mariners director of player development Chris Gwynn talks about some of the lower level minor league players that he expects to see be eventual contributors to the big league club. Former Mariners catcher and current broadcaster Dan Wilson talks about some of the catchers in the minor leagues specifically Mike Zunino and John Hicks and what to expect from them at the big league level.
